+How do I book an appointment with a specific tattoo artist?
It is super easy. You can book directly through our website at scorpiotattoostudio.com/contact or call us. If you have a favourite artist in mind, just let us know and we will do our best to make it work for you.
+Do you accept walk-ins, or is it appointment-only?
Walk-ins are always welcome at Scorpio Tattoo Studio. However, if you have a specific time or artist in mind, making an appointment is a great way to guarantee your spot. We always aim to be flexible and accommodating.
+How do you ensure hygiene and safety during tattoo procedures?
Hygiene is non-negotiable at Scorpio Tattoo Studio. We use sterile, single-use needles for every client, disposable gloves, and hospital-grade disinfectants to sanitize all work surfaces and equipment between sessions. Reusable tools are autoclave-sterilized, and the studio is cleaned and disinfected before and after every appointment.
+Do you use sterile and single-use needles for every tattoo?
Yes. Every needle is sterile and single-use, sealed until opened in front of the client and disposed of immediately after the session in a biohazard sharps container. We never reuse needles across clients. Grips and tubes are either single-use or autoclave-sterilized between sessions, and all equipment is handled with fresh gloves for every appointment.
+How do you manage pain and customer comfort during sessions?
We walk clients through the process before starting so there are no surprises, and take breaks during longer sessions on sensitive areas. Our artists work efficiently to keep discomfort minimal, especially for first-timers.
+How do you handle touch-ups and corrections?
We offer one free touch-up within 30 days of the original tattoo, so it heals and looks exactly as intended. Changes beyond normal healing touch-ups, like added detail or design corrections, are quoted separately.
+How many tattoo sessions do you complete each month?
We complete around 60 tattoo sessions a month, across small custom pieces and larger multi-session work.
+What licenses and registrations does your tattoo shop hold in Chennai?
Scorpio Tattoo Studio is a GST-registered business operating under the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act, and follows biomedical waste disposal practices in line with tattoo industry hygiene standards.
+What is your minimum charge for tattoo services?
Our minimum charge starts at ₹1,500, depending on size, placement, and design complexity.
+What aftercare instructions do you provide after tattooing?
Keep the tattoo covered for the first 2-3 hours, then wash gently with unscented soap. Apply a thin layer of recommended ointment 2-3 times a day for the first week. Avoid direct sunlight, swimming, and tight clothing over the area during healing, and don't pick at scabbing.
+How do you ensure accuracy and precision in detailed tattoo designs?
We start with a detailed stencil and design consultation so the client approves exact placement and proportions before we begin. Our artists use precise linework and steady freehand control for intricate, detailed patterns.

We currently have 3 tattoo artists available for appointments.
+Can you help with tattoo removal or cover-ups?
Definitely. We offer both safe tattoo removal services and expert cover-ups. Whether you want a complete removal or a creative redesign, our team is ready to help you start fresh.
+Is there parking available at your Medavakkam studio?
Yes. We have convenient parking right near the studio at Kamarajar Complex. Just look for the Reliance landmark in Perumbakkam and you will find us easily, with plenty of parking space.
+Do you use vegan or cruelty-free inks?
We absolutely do. Just let us know your preference and we are happy to use vegan and cruelty-free tattoo inks for your piece. We care about your values and comfort.

Of course. We love seeing clients feel comfortable and supported. Bring a friend or loved one, we have a welcoming atmosphere and want you to feel right at home throughout your experience.
